The only reason we are here is because when I was away the other week looking at self storage sites I stayed in Windermere …

Instead of booking the room for that specific night I booked it for two weeks later 😱

So when I went to check in (2 weeks ago) the receptionist said im sorry mr Booty we dont have you checked for tonight, your booking is in 2 weeks time

Hahah or aggghhhh!! And I couldnt cancel or move the date because I booked through booking.com

Ok … Today is the turn of Wrexham 

I’m incredibly proud of this site … It was my first acquisition!

When we took over the site, it was only doing around £80,000, but I knew with some changes here and there this site could do a lot more 

It’s fair to say this site is absolutely FLYING 

(All ex vat)

Key things to note -

• We took over the site in Feb 2023, we had a slow start as the operations weren't as we would have liked … So we started from the bottom and got the systems in place before we looked at growth 

   

• 2025 we hit £236,000 in revenue … Compare that to just £80,000 when we took over the growth is incredible. That’s over £150,000 increase in revenue, or nearly 200% increase in revenue 

   

• Between 2024 and 2025 we increased revenue by £40,867

   

• That's a 21% increase in revenue. I'm obviously very happy with this, but I want more in 2026!

Lastly, I like to look at December's revenue to give you an idea of what to expect the following year 

December’s 2025 revenue was - £21,846

Times by 12 (months in the year) - £262,152

So even if we just hit December’s figures every month through 2026, then we can expect around a £25,000 revenue increase in 2026. This is a 11% increase
