Exciting things are happening and we’re only at the beginning of the year! So, here’s a quick heads up before we dive into today’s numbers…

Self Storage Tip 💡 💰

This is one of my favourite things to do … I love to go through and compare yearly revenues of each site 

Today it’s Willerby’s turn 

Willerby was my first indoor site …. It was a MASSIVE investment and nearly crippled me financially … But we got through it … Just haha 

The table below shows the revenue (January 1st to December 31st EX VAT) for the last 5 years for our Willerby site 

Key things to note - 

• In 5 years, we have doubled revenue, an increase of over £500,000. There’s very little costs associated with that increase in revenue, so the vast majority of that drops straight to the bottom line 
   

• 2025 was the first year our site hit the magic £1 million in revenue … Very few sites in the North of England hit this … Something I’m extremely proud of!
   

• Between 2024 and 2025, we increased revenue by £92,898 
   

• That’s a 10% increase in revenue. Considering we only increased let sq ft by 2,000 that tells me we have a fantastic revenue management system in place 

Lastly, I like to look at December's revenue to give you an idea of what to expect the following year 

December’s 2025 revenue was - £89,746 

Times by 12 (months in the year) - £1,076,952 

So even if we just hit December’s figures every month through 2026, then we can expect around a £40,000 revenue increase in 2026. This is a 3.9% increase 

BUT … Obviously, this is based on December's figures …. We will comfortable beat December’s revenue figure in the vast majority of months in 2026
