Uneducated SELF Storage Owners

People often ask me why I do the podcast and newsletter …. Giving away the self storage secrets 😬 lol

There are a few reasons but one of them is -

Im on a mission to Educate Self Storage Owners / Operators

Educated Operators are better for all of us!!

Id rather compete with an educated self storage owner than an uneducated owner

Uneducated operators will open up anywhere … Demand or not and drive down the price for everyone

This is happening to me right now in Beverley … Ha and its one of my friends (long story) 🥸

My friend is opening in Beverley … A small container site (25 containers)

Is there a demand in Beverley … Hmmm debatable, I would definitely say there are much better locations to be opening

Were only a small town and we already have 4 storage facilities

Its not the fact he’s opening thats frustrating … Its the fact he charging less than half

Our Price - £67 per week (including minimum insurance)

There Price - £25

I get the new kid on the block wants to lease up quickly but why oh why cut the prices so dramatically 🤷‍♂️

This kinda Uneducated approach drives prices down for all of us

Educated Self Storage Operators are not to be feared … We will only open up if there is significant demand

This industry is amazing and gives so much opportunity but it only works if were all educated 💪
