Hey Hey ... Although these newsletters are time consuming im finding myself strangely looking forward to writing them.

Picture this ... Im sat in front of the computer talking all things storage whilst drinking a nice cold beer .... The wife on the other hand is cleaning up tea. Ha i have it made :-)

  • 1 - This is horrific!! A small plane that could only turn right crashes in to a self storage facility in Kent!

  • Im scared of flying anyway ... so this is no good for me. But the good news is both men involved in the crash are in hospital ... Fingers crossed they make a full recovery!

    Store 4 Sure - My forth Site

    • Acquisition - Took over 27th Jan

    • Purchase price £90k but there was money in the business and its paid over 2 years interest free

    • Indoor - 10,000 sq ft Building ... No mezz yet

    • Outdoor - room for 30 - 40 containers

    • Changes we are making - Charging insurance, investing money to make the site manless and increasing lettable sq ft with a mezz and containers

    • This will be a Store More site in the future

    • Last Months revenue = Hard to be 100% (long story) but its around £10k a month

    • Rent = £50k

    • Rates = £15k per annum

    • SQ FT Occupancy = 74%

    • storeit4sure.co.uk

    • Profit = £32,000

    • Take Away ... I bloody love this deal! Low risk and big upside. I think this site will net £200k a year. Cant wait to do more acquisitions :-)

    • What can I say?? Nothing happening at Bev (This is a copy and paste from yesterday)

    • Loads of quotes but we arent converting at the minute!!

    • Thats what I said yesterday .... But now is the time to start asking the team questions ... 10 quotes and no reservations, why? whats the objections?

    • We need to be on the ball here ... There could be a simple explanation but if we dont talk to the team we dont know

      • Were converting around 5% of all website traffic to reservations ... That my friends is awwwwesome!!

      • Another takeaway is the website visitors are going up week on week!

      • I believe this is an indication that there is a growing demand for storage!

      • Just a couple of months ago we were only hitting 200 visitors

      • Dont overlook your analytics!

      • Keep an eye out for any change in the data ... The data is the data is the data ... It doesnt lie!
