How Much Do I Pay To Acquire A Customer 🤨

So I was having a meeting with the awesome people at YBA PPC (Laura Moxhams Company)

We were running through my Cost Per Click for October 

Once I have the cost per click for my Google Adds I can work out how much it costs to acquire a customer  … 

… Heres how 

So it firsts start with the Cost Per Click 

CPC = £3.73 

So it is literally costing me £3.73 for a qualified lead to come to my website in October 

I know that 22% of the website visitors get a quote 

So the cost to get a quote works out at £16.95 

(100 ÷ 22 (the amount of website visitors that get a quote) = 4.5 

4.5 X £3.73 =£16.95 

So it costs Store More (in Oct) £16.95 each quote  

Lets say 25% of the quotes actually book 

(I know we always convert at over 25% of our quotes) 

That would make the cost per booking = £67.80

(100 ÷ 25 = 4 …. £16.95 X 4 = £67.80)

This for me is a crucial number to know …. 💡

If the above figure is more than your LTV (Life Time Value) of a customer then you have a problem and its unsustainable 

HOWEVER, if its less than your LTV, then your adds work and scale them to the moon baby 😂

My LTV is (depends on sites) over £900 per customer 

Soooo that makes PPC Google adds a brilliant investment for me … Its not a cost, its an investment 💰

***Caveat … We do pay Lauras team to run our Google adds so you need to factor those costs into the calculations as well
