Today, we have two graphs to look at from the SSA Industry Report

Graph number one

I wanted to highlight this one as it followed on from yesterday

This shows that 67% of operators see an increase above inflation

Which I totally concur with … In fact, if I revenue didn't increase faster inflation, I would be devastated

Again, this just shows the confidence internally in the self storage industry

Graph number two is really interesting to me 

(Yes, I know it’s not technically a graph … Dont get funny with me haha its a friday afterall)

It shows that over 50% of operators don't have the ability to reserve and pay online for a unit 

Let's not forget this report only takes into consideration the people who have actually filled in the survey

So most of the people who filled in the survey will be very good and forward thinking operators

In reality it will be the hast majority of operators in the UK who do not have the ability to book online

I think these results are staggering!

Most other industries will be looking in and thinking …. What??? 

“In most self storage facilities you cant book and pay online? Thats basics stuff in my industry” 

This again just highlights that to be successful in this industry you dont need to do anything groundbreaking 

Please don't think that this is me having a go at anybody who doesn't have the ability to book and pay online because I'm really not …

I totally get it, up until Cvid we also didn't have the ability to do this either.

I'm just highlighting in this industry It's very easy to be successful without having to do anything out of the ordinary
