Self Storage Tip - 💡 💰 🤑

I get loads of questions about my price increase letter

So today I’m sharing the exact letter we send out 

PLLEAAASSSEEEEE don’t do what I used to do and justify the price increase to the customer

I used to send a letter out and say the increase is happening because we’re improving this, that and this and that …. 

It was almost an apology to the customer. 

Netflix don’t justify it by saying we are increasing the production of more series … They just say your price is increasing to X

To be fair it’s probably a good time to shout out Dave Davies here because it was him who taught me this 5 plus years ago … and he was spot on. 

Keep it very simple … Don’t justify it … If you do justify it, it comes across like you asking permission 

Anyway … Here’s my price increase letter we send out below.
