Sorry I didn’t do an email yesterday

My son had an operation over the weekend and his recovery didn’t go to plan

Nothing too serious so please dont worry

Post opp he couldn’t stop been sick and cannula wouldn’t work … Because of this he couldn’t get any pain relieve and was dehydrated

So we had to move wards and stay the night, your truly sleeping on the chair next to him

I try to learn from all situations and the learning here is simple -

If your nearest and dearest are healthy then you are truly wealthy

Seeing some of the kids on that ward and looking at their parents was heartbreaking.

We were lucky, we only stayed in for 36 hours but it showed me a glimpse of how fragile life can be

Anyway … Kais ok (well as good as he can be after an op)

just means that I get to sit on the sofa with him watching movies all day … which is what ive been doing today

Right … ….. enough of this doom and gloom lets get on with this
