Sorry this is email is slightly later than normal … I ended up at Ladies Day at Doncaster Races yesterday with the Wife

Great day but wow people do love to get absolutely wasted at these events 🥂🍻 …. Dont get me wrong … I love a beer more than most so no judging on my part 🤨

In a ten minute period i saw ….

• A lady get hit by a bus (wont go in to the details but it wasnt pretty … but it was awesome to see everyone run to her side and try to help), fingers crossed shes ok! 🙏 

• 3 men in their 60s having the time of their life, then one fell in the bush … 😂 Yes literally fell in a bush at the side of the road. This was all the more funny because they couldnt get him out and he was in no fit state to even stand.

  It was sooo funny I and them couldnt stop laughing 😂

  Dont worry dont worry … I helped the man out of the bush but it wasnt easy, he was a big old bloke … They then went on their “merry” 😝 way!

So one fun experience and 1 not so fun experience

I love this advice ... for me it comes in two parts ✌️

1-

You must be charging for insurance ... Its a win for you and a win for the customer

You earn more money and the customer has their goods insured

If you arent making insurance a REQUIREMENT your leaving money on the table 💰

2 -

Its so important how you phrase words and sentences

Mandatory sounds so final and a little aggressive ❌

Requirement sounds as were asking politely ✅

Both mean the same but sentiment behind both is different.

To give you a quick insight how much difference insurance can make to your business.

We bought a self storage in Wrexham …

The revenue was £8k per month … No insurance was been charged

We now charge all customers (existing and future customers) insurance

The revenue = £9,600 per month

£1,600 per month insurance revenue

That’s just about £20k a year extra revenue … No extra work, straight to the bottom line 🙌

Its a win for us and a win for the customers (We gain more revenue and profit and they gain security and peace of mind knowing if anything goes wrong they are covered) 🙃
