I wanted to share this email I received from Storage King

Remember we are always learning and improving …. We can always learn from other operators

Anyway ….. I LOVEEED the email for two reasons 👊

1- I did a quote with this location 3/4 months ago ..

They went through the normal sales process with me and I innvertably fell off their sales process and chase up (BTW their sales process was spot on)

Then all of a sudden out of the blue I received this email …. In all my mystery shops this has never happened to me.

Reengaging with me after 3 months with an increased offer and a FREE van rental 😮

2 - Refundable Deposit 🤔

It got me thinking and questioning what we do …

We’ve tried it every which way …

We’ve tried taking a deposit, we’ve tried no deposit

Currently we dont ask for a deposit … But is this right? 😳

Storage King obviously think its the correct thing to do and probably have data to back up their decision

Either way, right or wrong it’s always best to challenge our assumptions

Ultimately it cost them nothing to send the email … So why not, I’m a lead after all.

Nothing to lose and everything to gain … Well played Storage King …
