Mystery shop your facility 

I was having a conversation with my awesome friend Dave Davies yesterday and I wanted to share that insight with you! 

We were talking about how self storage operators can increase their lets

Dave had loads of thoughts as you would expect :-) 

One thing he did say really stood out … He asked me -

How long does it take to get back to your prospect when they do an online quote?

For me, the maximum time should never exceed 10 minutes

Dave 100% agreed … HOWEVER!

He asked me do I ever mystery shop my own facility … I said NO

Dave went on to say that I would be really surprised how many storage operators take hours to get back to their prospects … He does mystery shop day in, day out!

This is such a massive mistake!!! It shocked me!!

When you get a quote you need to act immediately .... Your prospect is engaged right there and then ... dont miss this opportunity!

It shocked me people are making this mistake!! 

So my message to operators today is … Mystery shop your facility 

You need to treat your prospects and quotes like gold dust 

Ask yourself how would YOU like to be treat … You wouldn’t want to wait hours before someone got back to you … We want the information right there and then 

Ring the customer as soon as humanly possible … As if your business relies on it … Because it does!
