Ive been looking at our reservations and at the minute we are reserving a lot more smaller rooms …. This is something you would expect at this time of year because of students

HOWEVER …. Its always best to have a look at the reasons people arent reserving … We need to be on top of any potential trends before they start effecting our business

I want to know, the amount of quotes for individual room sizes and the conversions for each …. It could be a competitor is doing a promo on that size rooms … Or it could be absolutely nothing and just one of things

Either way I want to be on top of it

James Schramko is someone ive followed for years and ive even worked with him … In fact ive actually interviewed him on my podcast “Motivated Entrepreneurs”.

He is someone I have massive respect for and look up to!!

Anyway … Something he said on his podcast got me thinking -

“Don’t be single source dependant”

That means don’t have one person in your organisation who is the only person who can do that task.

In my early years of business I made this mistake time and time again

However with experience we grow and develop

Now in my self storage company we make sure we have multiple people who can do every task … We are not single source dependent.

Your homework 🤣 is to look at your organisation and ask the question “Am I single source dependent”?
