So all very small units … But a res is a res! This week, its raining reservations ☔️

Average Customer Value 🤔

This is another cracker from my very good friend … James Sinclair (never actually spoken to him 🤣)

To work out your ACV its …. Takings divided by Customers

You can do this daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly … depends on the business

If I had my restaurant again I would do this daily

I’d then know how good the staff where at increasing the revenue, deserts, extras, been on top of the drinks … if someone’s nearly finished their drink, ask if they want another one etc etc.

For my self storage business this on monthly because it’s easier and gives me an idea of where we are at

So for example -

Willerby - £70k (revenue) Divided by 470 (customers) = £149 ACV

Beverley - £14,500 Divided by 84 = £172 ACV

The more we understand our numbers the better the decisions we make 🤑
