84% of self storage sites are indoor sites

16% of self storage sites are outdoor sites

HOWEVER!!

There is a big caveat here that I need to mention

This percentage is ONLY from companies who filled out the report

Meaning this figure is distorted ….

Most companies who fill out this report are the bigger operators (with the manpower to undertake the filling out of the report), the bigger companies are more often than not the indoor operators

As you can see in the results

So I don’t think this is a true reflection of operators as a whole in the UK … And the report doesn’t pretend to be every site in the UK

… In fact, I’m going to put my neck on the line and say there’s not much in it between indoor sites and indoor sites across the UK 😲🤷‍♂️

Anyway … Just felt the need to highlight this

This highlights the fact that it’s fairly easy to satisfy your customers …
