Highlights

  • 101 quotes – this is 22 more compared to December 2024 & is the highest amount quotes for December since December 2021.

     

  • True period Revenue increased by £2,516.75 from November to December, £89,746.29 is the second-highest revenue & has increased by £6,633.81 compared to December 2024. This is nearly £80k increase per year … Which is OK, but just below our target.
     

  • Average insurance sold to new customers hit target of £6,500.
     

  • Van insurance revenue at £1,350 is the joint highest amount since we increased the insurance charge amount in August 2025.
     

  • Average customer value at £241.90 is the highest figure on record.

 

Concerns

  • Only 28 reservations which is 4 less compared to December 2024, with 22 more quotes than December 2024, we would expect this to be higher.
     

  • Sq.ft. occupied has increased by 1,135 from December 2024 to December 2025 & the percentage occupied has increased from 78.92% to 81.78%. It’s an increase butttt a very small one, I expect to see more increase in 2026.
     

  • Conversion rate at 27%, this figure is ok but for December 2024, this was 40%, we would like to at least match what we achieved last year.
     

  • 3 cancelled reservations which is 10.71%, anything over 10% is a concern.
     

  • Sq.ft moved in at 2,355 is 340 less compared to December 2024 & is the lowest amount of sq.ft. moved in for a December month since December 2019.
     

  • Sq.ft. net result at negative 1,150 is the most sq.ft. we have lost since April 2025.
     

  • 1 Feefo review received which is the lowest amount since January 2025.
     

  • Churn rate still above 10% at 10.45%, although this has decreased by 3% from last month but is still 4% higher compared to December 2024.
     

  • Actual cost of advertising for PPC Google per move at £321.84 has increased by £131.45 from last month.

 

Actions

  • Push Feefo and Google reviews – discuss new ideas with the team for how to increase the review levels.
     

  • Can we hit a target of 35% for conversion – look at reasons for why leads are not booking – is the sales process being followed, do we need to look at price/offers.
     

  • Ensure sales calls are being made at different times to increase the contact made levels. December 2025 was 52% contact made, can we hit 60%.
     

  • Can we reduce move out levels – offer leavers offer (4 weeks ½ price ) when they give notice? Ensure we know reasons for customers giving notice.
     

  • Set a target to finish positive sq.ft. for January.
     

  • Design new follow-up sales emails/texts to be sent to customers.
     

  • PPC improve

4.5/10 BUTTTTTT …. We are comparing this to summer months. Overall Store More has had one of theeee best winters we have ever had.

We are starting January with an occupancy of 81.78% …. We have NEVER started the year so full 💪
