The table below shows the last 5 months, left been last month and the far right 5months ago)

You will see my debt to revenue ratio increasing because of the capital expense at Wrexham and Mansfield

Im currently paying £26k a month in debt 😳

That’s 21% of my overall revenue …

Its a lot but its something that is sustainable AND … Scarily it will increase with the shop fit at Mansfield and the container fit out in Wrexham

BUT … In 4 years I could be debt free with the current rate of repayments πŸ‘ … I wont be because il keep expanding πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

I guess the worrying stat here as well as been on a positive trajectory is the Debt As a % Of Assets … Its coming down which is good to see.

(But we have to remember this is very much dependent on how much you decrease the assets on your balance sheet)

Soooo that’s a little look behind the curtain with my debt … Self Storage can be a high capital intensive business and if you can stomach that its a very fruitful business longterm πŸ’ƒ

(Obviously there are other ways to play the self storage game that arent as capital intensive ie containers)
