It is my eldest son's 12th birthday whoop whoop …..Today we are taking a day off and going around Manchester with him so super excited.

The 10th of June is also the date that I finally open slots to the June self storage program.!!

Today, we're back looking at the SSA industry report 

We are focusing on the investments that were made in 2025

Self Storage continues to outperform even in uncertain times, which is awesome to see

There wasn't as many investments in early 2025, but more in late 2025

But what makes me even more bullish about the industry is ….

Private equity and institutional capital continues to flood into the industry … I can only see this continue to increase in 2026 and beyond 

The secret of self storage is not fully out, but it won’t be long

I really do believe in 5 years, we will look back on this time and kick ourselves for making more of the self storage opportunity 

Like all opportunities, the door will close, making it harder and harder to make serious money …. 

HOWEVER, we are far from that point at the minute 

I keep saying it … We have 5 - 10 years of blue ocean, to really make hay (my terminology is rubbish, I know … but at least I’m not AI haha)..... 

Then it will get more difficult … not impossible, just harder 

I certainly don’t want to regret the unbelievable opportunity we have … Im all in on self storage (ha, if you couldn’t guess)
