For context this is for a Management Role

The organisation grows if the cumulative knowledge of the company grows 🤔

The organisation doesn’t grow if you have all the knowledge …. It only grows if your management brings something to the table you don’t 🤯

Must people are scared of bringing in people with a better skillset … They think it undermines them as a leader …

It does the exact opposite 🥸

Bringing people into the organisation who are stronger than you shows a confident and competent leader ✅

If you bring someone in and you have the entire knowledge set about whatever the subject matter is then the organisation doesn’t grow ❌

If your the smartest person in your business then it means the business is capped by your brain … Def not good for me 😂

You should almost feel an idiot when interviewing them on their subject matter

Ive hired 2 management roles

• Angela, she was a manager at armadillo and had way way more operational knowledge than me ✅

• Katie, Katie ran 10 ish container sites and oversaw the lot …. I’ve never done that ✅

Remember you should be learning from your team as much as they are learning from you
