WHY??? 😳

STOP GIVING REFUNDS! ❌

I can see this is going to be a little controversial and not everyone is going to agree and that’s totally fine …..

…. BUT …. If you want to increase your revenue this is a little GEM that is overlooked by so many people

To be honest when I was first told not to give refunds I didn’t agree either 🤔

I was on a coaching call with the awesome Anne Ballard #SelfStorageLegend … I told her ….

If someone stayed 10 days and had paid upfront for 28 days I would refund 18 days … Anne couldn’t believe it!!

She simple asked me why I was giving money away 🥸 and … People don’t expect a refund

HMMMMM … I wasn’t convinced

I spoke to the team and mentioned it to them and I remember Angela saying some people were shocked when we actually gave them a refund and they didn’t expect it …. hmmm, maybe Anne was right and there’s something in this 🤔

So we tried not giving refunds …. It worked unbelievably well.

We have had very few push backs and its increased our profit by over £20k just at Willerby!! …. Thanks Anne ❤️

We simply say to people storage is like a Netflix subscription … You pay every month (or 28 days) and the unit is yours for the duration

People understand, if you cancel your Netflix subscription you don’t get a refund

I can’t promise everyone is going to take this advice BUT I can promise everyone that does take this advice WILL increase their profits 💰
