Here’s a great stat for you to consider ….. 🧐

Only 5% of business’s make it over 10 years … Shocking stat and one that is sobering for us business owners!

So … ready for my awesome maths … That means 95% of businesses don’t make the 10 year mark 😅 

Now I don’t have the stats on this but I don’t believe there are many self storage facilities that struggle …. From all my research, I can only think of one and that was down to complete mismanagement. It was also 15 years ago.

My point here is self storage is an amazing industry and its changed many many peoples lives.

I know that times have been a little less fruitful recently and occupancy is down from last year but that’s only because of our CVID bump. We are just reverting back to a normal occupancy level.

Demand is still growing faster than supply and this is still an industry that wont get you rich quick BUT will get you very wealthy longterm 💰

Self storage preforms whatever the economy … We have historical data from America and the UK to back this up, so you can be confident in the industry!!

If you are thinking of dipping your toes into starting a business the stats suggest you couldn’t pick a better industry than self storage … Ha and lets be fair it has people like me in it 🤣
