So its the end of the month and on balance it was a good month for us π―
I would have liked more move ins β¦ I think they are down on what I would expect in May β¦ However the churn rate was low throughout the 4 sites
We ended the month just over 3,000 Sq Ft up π€©

Its a Recurring business module
Customers buy from you more than once ... Often for many years πΊ
Takeaway 2:
The costs are somewhat fixed
Staff
Rent / Mortgage
Rates
Advertising
All pretty much the same if you have 100 customers in your facility or 500
Takeaway 3:
Life time value of a customer is awesome ... People stay far longer than they expect
Netflix sky etc they are easy to cancel β¦ To cancel storage unit you have to physically move your stuff out

You dont have to be an A grade operator to get A grade results
You can be an D grade operator and still get A grade results ... Haha I should know, im doing pretty well π π³ π’

Theres not a lot of moving parts to the business.
The fundamentals are simple ... Its a lot easier to run than most businesses

Technology is disrupting the industry and making self storage easier to manage π This is giving smaller operators an advantage over the big boys
