About the self storage site that set up next to us with NO Planning? 🤔

They didn’t have planning when they opened … They took a leaf from my playbook -

Ask forgiveness not permission! 😂

Open first then figure the rest out later 😅

They certainly did this … They have put 39 containers on the site with no planning

Risky business …. Councils and planning departments can be funny … But I have done the same thing 🥸

Anyway, said company have now put a planning application in and the council have asked if we want to object.

The answer is simple …. NOPE!

That may surprise a few people but I’m in the camp of live and let live.

There’s a lot of negativity in the world and why would I want to add to it …

It’s just a company that wants to make money … Who am I to object to that?

What would my objection be?? I object because I don’t want the competition …

… Not sure that argument will stand up 😂

Instead of focusing on them and objecting (negative energy BTW … Yes i’m all Wooo wooo woooo 😝), I should be focusing on my business.

How can we be better … Can I improve our sales process, Can our marketing be better etc etc …

There’s a million and one things we can do to improve our business, focussing on our competition isn’t one of them
